Because I Can't Help Myself

Because I'm a dork, I'm going to make 2 new RP accounts that I probably will never do anything with (actually, lie, I'm gonna post one of them to Dear Mun for certain XD).

I've got ideas for usernames for both of them, but I'm not sure, so I'd love some input.  :D

First is Lt. Surge from Pokemon.  Not sure what I'm gonna do with him, his canon review is going to be ridiculous because I'm gonna pull a little from the manga and I need to find his chapters.  Anyways, I'm thinking shockingvictory for him.  I keep thinking of the CSI meme because he wears sunglasses.  "Clearly, this was a shocking victory."  *sunglasses*

Next is Wheatley from Portal 2.  I know the game hasn't come out, but I watched the preview videos with him, and he is terribly adorable.  I love him to pieces.  XD  Reminds me kind of Orihime, he just babbles about all sorts of stuff.  And has a British accent!  :D  Though I am afraid either something horrible is going to happen to him or he's really a bad guy or something because Portal doesn't let you have nice things.  XD  Here's the videos, if you want to see what he's like:  Original video with test voice | Video with his real voice
Anyways, since he talks so much, I was thinking maybe chattersphere , because he's a chatterbox, but a sphere.  XD


So, um, I'd love to see what you think of these usernames.  I'm kinda uncertain on them, they don't feel quite right.  Thanks for any input!  ^_^

NaNoWriMo: Chapter 16

Just finished level 15/Chapter 16 of my Portal novelization!  It was another split chapter, I wrote some yesterday and some today.

Also, it's ridiculously long, I apologize.  It's over 4,700 words.  X_X  Took forever to write.  I don't like this level, I'm glad it's over.

I fear that the quality of this chapter might be lower than the others.  So much crazy stuff going on and weird things to describe.  :|

I'm feeling good about my word count, I hit over halfway with this chapter, and I know the next few levels are also on the long-ish side.  It'll be close or over, I think, which is heartening.  :D  I may have to finish it after NaNoWriMo.  XD

I'd love any crit/advice/comments for this chapter!  :D


Chapter notes:

-AUGH!  THIS LEVEL.  :|  I totally forgot that the end sequence of this wasn't it's own separate chamber.  :|
-Most of the action in this level is too frantic to properly screenshot.  It involves flinging and rapid movements.
-Gonna take foreverrr to get through this mess.  Better get started now.  :|
-This level is haettttt.
-Ha ha, grief counseling, I'm pretty sure Companion Cube is the next level, guess you'll be needing it after all.  XD
-I hope I made her line of thinking clear enough, the beginning of this level is triickkyy to figure out.  :|  Once you do, it's used all throughout the durn thing.  :|
-Did I leave out any details anybody else thinks is important to know?
-Used "half" waaay too much, but I don't know a better way to describe it.  :|
-Turret run is the next level, yaaaay.  :D
-Been using some of my engineering classes I took from high school to figure out stuff, I think most of the individual sections of concrete could be 8 feet tall, which means most levels are like 24+ feet tall, it's like a giant warehouse.  XD  If that assumption is correct, each individual floor square is about 2 feet wide and long, and Chell can easily stand within one.  That also means that the wall slabs are half as wide as they are tall.
-Ahhh, did I write before that the Grids reset portals?  Need to zip back and do that at the beginning of the chapter.  Had to go back an fix the second fling already.  XD
-I think I use "turned around" too much, but I don't know a better way to say it.  :|
-Should I have mentioned the Pellet bouncing around in the second fling room?
-Is Chell doing a somersault to not hit her face a stretch?  Should she just go flying out and land on her butt again instead?
-Is anyone else sick of hearing about how the stupid Pellet bounces off the stupid wall?
-All the action seems wonky in this stupid chapter.  :|
-The description of the last room is horrid.  :|
-......I did the final puzzle opposite of how I usually do.  I had enough time to get the pellet through after pressing the buttons.  It's never worked that way before.  XD
-....Apparently, Chell doesn't approve of organ donation if they're vital to living.
-I was tempted to refer to the cake as her "just desserts"  XD

Good Weekend

This weekend was pretty good.  :D

We didn't do a whole lot.  XD

One of the days, I heard another slam at the back door, but there wasn't anything out there.  :|  Even weirder.

Dad went to work Saturday, so we caught up on other TV with my Sister for a while.

When he came home, we watched a couple things, including Bleach.  ^_^

Sunday, we ate at Fazoli's with Dad's family, yay!  :D

Then we went to Books A Million.  I found Sonic and the Black Knight for $15 (even less with Mom's discount card  :D) and I got a happy breakfast mystery box.  :D  I got a happy bagel keychain.  :D

When my parents took my Sister back to school, I completed a chapter for NaNo and started another.  ^_^  I got caught up to where I needed to be.

Mom and Dad brought home Blizzards from Dairy Queen, yummm.  :D  We ate them and watched Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger.  I had a chocolate chip cookie dough Blizzard.

Today, we went and ate with Pappaw at Cici's Pizza.  It was good.  ^_^

I finished another chapter of NaNo today.  It ended up crazy long.  XD  I'm over halfway done with NaNo now, yaaaay!

I don't normally read the paper, but I was flipping through it today and found a really mean opinion piece speaking out against bloggers.  :<  I know what I have to say is boring and dumb most of the time, but I like writing down about my day so I can go back and read it later and it's also a way to tell my friends what's going on in my life.  I like having my own little place on the Internet where I can babble about my day and things I like and my plans and ideas for the future, even if most of them will never happen.  According to the guy that wrote it, I'm helping contribute to making this generation/the past look like a total failure and incredibly stupid because we just spill out our thoughts to the world.  :|  *raises an imaginary glass*  To failure of keeping our mouths shut and our fingers off the keyboard, may we all continue our journals until we get tired of them, HUZZAH!
