I think it'd be funny if Marluxia and Szayel met, only for the reason that they both have pink hair. XD

XD Though with his cherry blossom powers, he'd be a cool Byakuya, but the hair pasta would look weird on him. XD

Akane Kasai is my favorite Bleach fan-made (or original character (OC)) character, and possibly my favorite character that I have ever made.

She’s been through a lot to get to her current state.

She started out as a joke character, my sister had found a Bleach RP that was not very good.  The guy who made it, his character was pretty much a rip-off of Ichigo. I was pretty okay with that, until I saw that he even stole Ichigo’s sword, Zangetsu.

So I decided to make a Renji rip-off character to pester the Ichigo rip-off.  I didn’t know if I would join the RP (I never did), but it was fun to make the character.

I decided that the Renji rip-off would be his and Rukia’s daughter, and for some reason, she had borrowed Zabimaru.  I thought maybe at one point there would be a rescue mission to save Rukia from who-knows-what.

I found a site with Japanese names, and decided that Akane would fit perfectly, as it meant Dark Red.  Since I stole Renji’s hair and put it on her as a ponytail that reached her waist, it went nicely.

Thus, she was Akane Abarai.

Later, I discovered a Bleach forum for a Bleach online game.  I put Akane on the RP section there and gave her a new last name by using a Japanese-to-English dictionary.  Though, I forget what it is now, I never was too happy with it.

She now had her own Zanpakto.  Creating it took me a while; I had problems deciding what kind of powers and what the spirit would look like.  That is, until I remembered a Tigger plushie I saw at the Disney Store once.  It was part of a “sherbert” theme or something, so he was blue with yellow stripes.  I thought he looked electric, and dubbed him “Tigger-chu”.

So, using the Tigger-chu idea, I made Akane’s spirit a blue tiger with yellow stripes.  I used the Japanese-to-English dictionary to name him Raikoutora, or Lightning Tiger.  It took me a while to figure out his Shikai shape, but I finally decided on a lightning bolt.  The hilt for all forms looks like a cloud.

I thought that maybe her Bankai would be that Raikoutora took physical form and was able to attack and help Akane fight.

Though, not much of this mattered, as I started her out as a newbie Shinigami, as I was fairly new to the game.

Akane was ignored in that RP, until, she was randomly chosen by the Arrancar to be kidnapped.  While she was kidnapped, she befriended a kind Espada Arrancar, got turned into an Arrancar, and had training in Arrancar abilities.

Her Arrancar form is interesting.  Her name becomes Escura (Portuguese for Dark).  She was given the number 76 by my friend that was RPing Aizen and Akane’s Arrancar buddy.  Her hair becomes shoulder length and orange (I figured that since I had based her Shinigami form on Renji, I’d loosely base her Arrancar form on my other favorite character, Ichigo).  Her mask is only a small, roundish, and smooth patch on her right cheek.  Escura’s Hollow hole is in her middle, right where her heart would be (At the time I made her, I didn’t know that Arrancar holes could vary, so I just stuck it where I had seen regular Hollow holes always be).  Her Arrancar Zanpakto is solid black (I had forgotten about Ichigo’s Bankai at the time, and was just making her somewhat the opposite of her Shinigami form).  I forget exactly what her release was called, but it translated to pretty much Earth Dog (Opposite of Lightning Tiger).

Akane still had her old memories in this form, and was distraught at the transformation.  But, once she was being trained by her Espada friend and his other fraccion, Akane got into the training, and while she was focusing on that, temporarily forgot about her Shinigami past.  But, after resting, the next day, she remembered everything and returned to her old self.  Had she continued to stay as an Arrancar for a while, she would have sunk more and more into the Arrancar ways as she got more used to them.

She was placed under the Espada that she had befriended, and they were sent to the Seireitei for one reason or another.  The other Shinigami were surprised to see Akane’s transformation and they promised her that they’d get her back somehow.  Sadly, her Arrancar friend was killed, and when she was sent back to Las Noches, she was in despair.  For some bizarre reason, they had Aizen have Orihime turn her back to normal and she was sent back to the Seireitei.  There, she was giving her report to Captain Ukitake, when a Shinigami that looked like and had the same name as her Arrancar friend showed up.  Akane was surprised to see him, and after a while, the two became friends again.  Later, he gave her human chocolates and tied a yellow ribbon in her hair.  They fell asleep in each others arms, and then the forum blew up and the RP was dead forever.

That was the second Akane.

The third Akane was little different from the second.  I used the Japanese-to-English dictionary to give her a new last name.  It was Kasai, which meant Fire.

I kept everything else the same; she was a newbie Shinigami and the like.

She is still around and having a few small adventures and missions, but nothing on the scale as what the second one did.

So, Akane Kasai was finally created.

The fourth Akane is only different from the third in which that she has a lot more detail to her.  A friend on the Bleach forum asked me to join another forum and the Bleach RP there.  It was called Coloholics Anonymous.  They required a lot of information and detail.  Here is her profile:

The fifth Akane is a version of the fourth, with less detail and a few changes to her profile for use in other RPs.  I still play her as a newbie with no powers sometimes, but this profile has her Shikai information for when I make her more experienced.

After watching the episode of Bleach where Ichigo shows his Bankai to Byakuya and Byakuya talks about how rare and special Bankai is, I decided to remove Akane’s Bankai potential, because she is an average Shinigami and not special at all.

And that’s the current state of Akane Kasai.  I use her in RPs whenever I get a chance.  I like using her in a specific plot involving a Shinigami getting poisoned, along with other random plots, for RPs and stories I make to pass the time.  Maybe I’ll someday write out a version of my favorite one that I did by myself.

I just saw something talking about V.I.N.CENT the robot from Disney's live action movie The Black Hole.

I remember the time we watched it at home, I misheard his name as Benson, and by the time they showed it was V.I.N.CENT, it was too late, the name Benson had stuck in my mind. XD

Now, whenever I see him, I think of him as Benson. XD

While I was at the Beta club bowling party, I started to wonder if there was a bowling anime. XD I decided to make one up myself. XD

It'd be called BOWLING TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS or something equally as awesome, and the name would be yelled in English. XD

There'd be this awesome guy who's awesome at bowling. And he'd look something like Kai from Beyblade (Season 3 style, compete with epic scarf and/or cape). And he'd bowl, turn his back from the lane and walk away slowly, and as he did so, in the background, it'd be like *EPIC STRIKE*.

And there'd be another guy, and he could only knock down 9 pins at a time, never 10 for a strike. And it'd be down to the final score, and if he got a strike, he'd win for the team, and he'd do it and it'd be awesome.

There's be this goofball guy, who was pretty good at bowling, but he would look and act all goofy. He'd have a bright electric green bowling shirt, shocking blue shorts, and hot pink bowling shoes, or something like that, horribly mismatched.

Then there'd be a little kid who was a genius at bowling. But, he would be afraid of the machine that returns the ball, so someone else would have to do it for him.

There'd also be this uber-rich guy who was like the sponsor or something. He'd be terrible at bowling, but he'd be on the team for being the sponsor. All the other people would have normal clothes and probably rent their bowling shoes, but he'd have a fancy bowling outfit (probably a new one every episode) and he'd have a perpetual shine about him. He'd also have a SOLID GOLD BOWLING BALL.

Then there'd be the guy who was okay at bowling, he'd try his best but mess up most of the time. He might get gutterballs a lot, and maybe even make the bowling ball bounce slightly. He might also get excited and bowl the ball early, before the machine was ready, and it might end in disaster or he might be lucky and it'd finish right before the ball hit.

There might also be this guy who used to be a bowling champion (but nobody knows it). He might be the captain of the team. Or he might not, and just hang out for the free food and never bowl until it was time for AWESOMENESS.

And the bad guys would cheat, of course. They might have something to make the bowling pins explode. It'd be great.

That's all the ideas I have for now, I'll post more if I get more. ^_^

The local movie theater closed, and a new one has opened.

I didn't realize exactly what this meant until tonight.

Dad drove me back to college, and we passed by the old theater and I could see that the lobby was empty, no posters, no things hanging from the ceiling, no arcade games. Just emptiness.

I've been going to that theater ever since I can remember, I can't even tell you the first movie I saw there, it's just always been there. The last movie we saw there was Jumper.

It wasn't the biggest or the fanciest theater, but there were a lot of good movies (and okay movies and bad movies... XD) that were there. A lot of memories, seeing movies with friends, midnight showings of Star Wars III and Pirates of the Carribbean 2 and 3, just seeing movies with my family...

And now, all that is gone to a big and fancy theater that was built because the town next door got a big and fancy theater. My town is going downhill with overdevelopment of restaurants and stores and the like. A lot of the restaurants are having problems with having enough staff. And it's all because they want money to stay in our town, not the town next door or the nearby mall area.

So, a causualty of this disaster is the movie theater.

I'm going to a convention next month, and I don't have a costume because I can't decide on a character. >_<

It's too late to make a costume. I remembered that my friends that said they were going to help me are working at a convention, but I'm not sure when it is, plus they're finishing their costumes, and whatever schoolwork they have, so that's out.

I want to be Roy from Super Smash Bros. Melee and Fire Emblem 6.

And there's no Roy costumes on Ebay.

Too bad, it would have been fun to wander around and yell at the other Super Smash characters that it's not fair that I got kicked out, and me and Mewtwo, and Dr. Mario were going to have a game of our own. Ha ha ha.

And my Sister said that I'd look stupid as Roy.

Well, I'd look stupid in most costumes.

My Sister has two costumes, so I thought it'd be fun if we had costumes from the same thing, then we could poke each other.

She has a TenTen costume from Naruto.

I don't want to be a character from Naruto.

I don't care for most of the characters.

She says I look like Kabuto. Even so, it'd be weird.

Everybody'd be like "RAWR EVIL" except Orochimaru who'd be like, "Yo, servant, do stuff." And I'd be like, "No *runs away*", and he'd be like, "NOOOOO COME BAAAAACCCKKKK~! *tear*" and then I'd point at a random person and yell "BETRAAAAAAAYYYY!" and yeah.

Neji hates everyone. I could be him, but I don't want to go around the whole convention hating everyone and stating the obvious. Then Hinata would be like, "Relative!" and I'd be like, "Haaaatteeeee." And Hinata would be like, "Why do you have glasses?" And I'd be like, "Byakugan exploded..." And Hinata would be like, "Oh."

She has a Momo costume from Bleach.

Bleach causes problems.

I want to wear normal Shinigami outfit. Not so tough? Yeah right.

4 people in Bleach wear glasses. One isn't a Shinigami, so count Uryu out. Don't wanna be Nanao, she's boring, and I don't want old drunk guys stalking me all convention. Aizen's a no, he's evil, has the silly Captain's outfit, and my glasses are not dorky enough. Tosen's also a no, he's evil, has the silly Captian's outfit, his glasses are silver, and I look NOTHING remotely like him. I could get away with the other three, but not him. XD

My friends said I could be Rukia. I guess I could go with that, except there's the whole mess of CHOOSE RENJI OR ICHIGO and that's a whole another story.

And Byakuya'd be like, "Little sis!" and I'd be like, "Big bro!" and he'd be like, "Why do you have glasses?" and I'd be like, "I stared at Ichigo's hair too long and went blind." and he'd be like, "That makes sense."

I thought about Organization XIII from Kingdom Hearts, too, but after a long and careful thought and realizing that their outfit is probably going to be very warm as it is leather-ish and close-fitting, not comfy.

No Sora either, then Kairi'd be like, "LOVE." And I'll be like, "No. I'm Sarah, not Sora." And Kairi'd be like, "Close enough... And why do you have glasses?" And I'd be like, "I am SARAH." And she'd be like, "Whatever *hugs*" And it'd be weird.

I thought about Marcus from Digimon Data Squad, me and my Sister say he looks girly. I almost have the right hair for him, I just need to put part of it in the silly ponytail. I got his Digivice for my birthday, so I could put it on a string, and then pick it up every so often and yell at Agumon to be quiet and that lunch would be later. And if people asked about my glasses, I could say, "Ultimate fighters can wear glasses if they want to!" But, that all would be just too weird.

Annnnnnnnddddddddddd.....................yeah.

So, I have problems.

Here's another rambling, this time on an anime I finished recently. I finished watching Fate/Stay Night last Friday, and enjoyed it very much! ^_^

Fate/Stay Night is about what is called the Holy Grail War. This war takes place every so often, and this time, it's the 5th one. In every war, there are 7 magicians that each call 1 Servant, for a total of 7 Servants in each war. The Servants are heroes from all over time and the world. When there is only one magician and their Servant left, they win the war and can obtain the Holy Grail.

The show follows one magician in particular and his relationships with the other magicians, in battle and otherwise.

The characters are pretty cool, especially the Servants. There are a good amount of little plot twists that make the series mysterious and epic.

This series is one of my favorites, I found it very enjoyable, and will probably watch it again.

A note though, I have found out that it is based off of an adult hentai game. >_< That being said, the show is very clean, with very little inappropriateness, and what there is is pretty minor. An edited version, for everyone to play, of the game came out for Japanese PS2. The cussing is at a medium level, they don't cuss a horrible amount, but a few words here and there. If you go searching for information about the show, you have been warned about the hentai game in advance.

If you do watch the show, I recommend going and looking at the Wikipedia entry fairly in depth afterwards. It reveals the identities of the Servants that did not reveal their names in the show. It also talks about the different paths that happen in the adult game and the novels that follow. There even are some prequel novels that talk about the 4th Holy Grail War. Also, a PSP fighting game appears to be in the works.

That being said, if you do watch the show, it's fun to try and figure out the identities of the Servants before they are revealed (if they are revealed at all). I was wrong on all that I came up with a guess for. XD

All in all, it is an enjoyable series, and I recommend that if you are looking for an exciting anime with good characters and a bit of mystery that you watch Fate/Stay Night.

*sighs* NSider may be gone, but the memories shall remain ever in our hearts (and, if you saved stuff, our hard drives).

I had some of the greatest times on NSider, back in the glory days of True Masses. I met some of my greatest friends on those threads, and I still treasure those friendships to this day.

A great injustice has been wreaked on the world, a forum, though years past its prime, has fallen to an unknown cause.

Many friendships, relationships, and enemies were made on this forum. Many tales were told on NSider, no more shall they be read. Some tales may have only appeared there, and now they are lost to the winds of the Internet.

With the lack of warning of destruction, many friendships may have been lost to the abyss. People that only were able to speak on NSider shall be able to speak no more, their voices forever silenced.

While NSider might have been decaying under the spread of SPAM and ignorance, there were still golden times to have had, still users that stood above the rest.

I know, without a doubt, that NSider has changed my life.

I have made friends that I have been able to rely on in times of need. I care very much for my NSider friends, all of them are precious to me. My NSider friends have taught me things about life, valuable lessons to be learned. My NSider friends have the gift of laughter, many a night spent chuckling over various forms of nonsense.

My NSider friends taught me to RP. Their gentle guidance and high standards helped me push myself to become better and better, each post to outdo the next.

Along with teaching me the basics of RPing, another thing comes with this, typing speed. Because of the RPs and my excitement to see what lay ahead, I slowly learned to type faster and faster, more accurately than before. This, in itself, is a valuable skill that pertains to the real world and beyond.

Another gift that came with the gift of RPing is writing. Because my NSider friends taught me to RP, I gained the confidence to start writing fanfiction, you can see the evidence of that here on this very forum. Along with this gift is the gift of creativity. Because of the knowledge of RPing, I have been able to come up with interesting stories, even if they are a bit bizarre at times.

The gift of RPing has not only lead to writing and creativity, but also a furthering and creating of friendships. If I had not learned to RP, I would not have made some of the friends I did, and still value today, whether they are from NSider or other sites.

RPing has also brought me the gift of Kingdom Hearts. A user that I met on NSider, through RPing, finally got me the inspiration to go out and get a PS2 and Kingdom Hearts. Because of this, I have been exposed to fantastic worlds and characters that I would have missed out on otherwise. Because of Kingdom Hearts, I have experienced wonderous adventures, and in discussing the events that have occured or RPing as the characters that appeared, I have made many more friends.

There are other things my NSider friends have brought me, but talking about them is very emotional, even more so now that NSider has been ripped from our grasp.

Many a tale I could tell you about NSider, be it making friends, my first encounters with certain users, RPing all the day and night, reading fanfics and sprite comics, discussing whether or not I am really Samus (My Sister's fault XD), SPAM and harmful users that I have encountered (some encounters that still make me unhappy to this day), nonsense with NOA_SHAUN, fun at Camp Hyrule, discussing obsessions with games/characters/items...

This is my first rambling about a certain topic. ^_^

I'm gonna talk about the arcade game Dinosaur King made by SEGA.

We discovered this little game at the Space Mountain arcade at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World in Florida.

It even has its own website. ^_^

The game system itself is small and orange.

It costs 75 cents to play.

Every time you play, you get a card!

You can use these cards to play the game. You scan it through a scanner on the machine.

There are three types of cards, Dinosaur Cards, Attack Cards, and Super Attack Cards.

Then, you have three buttons to push, Rock, Paper, and Scissors. ^_^

If you have a Dinosaur Card, you scan it to call a dinosaur. If you do not have a Dinosaur card, then you automatically get a Triceratops.

You can scan up to three Attack Cards. One for Rock, one for Paper, and one for Scissors.

The first time I played, I got an Attack Card, Tie Breaker.

I got all the way to the final boss, and lost. It looked like you had to play a lot and get good cards in order to win. XD

My Sister got a Dinosaur Card, Chasmosaurus. She used it and my Tie Breaker, but she didn't win either.

The second time we played, my Sister got another Dinosaur card, Tsintaosaurus. I got an Attack Card, Recovery.

The third time I played, I got an Attack Card, Quick Strike. I used Chasmosaurus, Recovery, and Quick Strike, and I managed to win! Yay! ^_^

My Sister played for several times afterwards, getting another Chasmosaurus, a shiny T-Rex looking dinosaur that was black with red-orange stripes, a blue-green dinosaur with a big mouth, and an Attack Card, Final Fury. She used the blue-green dinosaur, Recovery, Final Fury, and Tie Breaker, and she finally won. ^_^

The game is pretty simple, you hit Rock, Paper, or Scissors in order to attack your opponent. If you trump their attack, then you attack, if your attack is trumped by theirs, they attack, and if you tie, then you both take minor damage.

Then comes in the Attacks. If certain conditions are met, then you can use your Attacks for various sorts of extra attacks for more damage.

I'm not sure how the Special Attacks go, since we didn't get any of them.

The story is pretty simple, this kid named Max, his friend Rex, and this paleontologist guy go up against the Alpha Team, led by Dr. Z. I think the Alpha Team captured dinosaurs or something for their nefarious plans. You have to fight 3 minions of Dr. Z, then Dr. Z himself in order to win.

My favorite villian is Seth. He usually uses an Amargasaurus with Kamikaze Tackle and Haste. Though, I have seen him use a Giganotosaurus and an Irritator. Seth himself reminds me of a combination of Saix from Kingdom Hearts II and Kai from Beyblade. XD

What adds to the replayability of the game is that there are more than 3 minions, so they have different kinds of dinosaurs, and all the bad guys can swap up dinosaurs, so one guy might use T-Rex one round, and then next, an Ankylosaurus-looking one.

Even further is the range of dinosaurs and attacks you can use. You can use most basic attacks with any dinosaur, but even then, sometimes they're a little more effective with certain dinosaurs.

There's a huge variety of combinations of Attacks and Dinosaurs, and then the mixing up of the enemies and their dinosaurs, so it's hard to get bored.

75 cents is a great deal, considering you get a card every time.

The graphics are pretty awesome for the most part, some of the attacks looks a little weird, though.

I really hope that we can find the arcade game elsewhere, it was a lot of fun, and I look forward to getting more cards. ^_^

I have just found out that starting September 8th, on the 4Kids TV block on Fox, the Dinosaur King anime will start! Woot! I can't wait to see what it's like!

4Kids put up a section on Dinosaur King on their site. They also sometimes have the English episodes uploaded to their video section.

Someone on YouTube has posted Japanese episodes of Dinosaur King. Even though they have no subtitles, it's pretty easy to figure out what is going on.
