Things have been a bit crazy around here again, but in the good way mostly. Just have a lot of stuff going on.
Fourth of July was pretty good, Dad ended up going to work. But, he forgot his ID, so me and Mom went out to meet and give it to him. While we were out, we got to see lots of fireworks and stopped up on a hill and watched the big ones from Nashville. :D There were some other people there and they had the radio turned to a channel that had the live music and firework booms, so that was awesome. ^_^ The live orchestra even played Star Wars for the fireworks. XD
Dad's still doing okay, though he keeps getting weird memory losses, he's forgetting more and more, like the week before the seizure. D: But he seems fine otherwise. He's going to have an MRI next Wednesday.
I've been a bit stressed today with things, so I spent a while uploading pictures and things to The Portal Wiki, which was oddly relaxing. :D
We went to the library a bit for today. I tried to outsmart a printer and lost. XD But we tried a different printer and it worked, so that's good. I found two amusing books at the book sale, one was a 1951/1952 guide to raising parakeets and the other was a silly astrology book that had "nice" and "mean" descriptions of all the zodiac symbols and the "mean" ones read like they were written by GLaDOS. XD
We need to be at the library early tomorrow, so it might be a long day. Hopefully we don't have to be there the whole time and I can get some more downtime.
