Fanfic To-Do List and Blahblahblah

Scribbling down a list of fanfic ideas in order to remember them all.  Added a new one, will discuss it after the list.

The list is in no particular order, except that Portal Novelization MUST be done before any others will be begun.

Land Before Time - what if Littlefoot's Mom lived?

I was listening to If We Hold On Together and thinking how that EVERY TIME I watch Land Before Time, I AM CERTAIN THAT THIS TIME LITTLEFOOT'S MOM WILL LIVE YAY.  Of course, she never does.  :|

So, I got to wondering how it would be different if she did live.  Unfortunately, the answer is kind of depressing so far, Cera, Petrie, Ducky, and Spike might all end up dead, Littlefoot was the one that brought them all together.  I'm not sure if the presence of his mother would change this, especially since they'd probably get to all the places where he met his friends much later, because his mother is injured from the battle with Sharptooth and they'd probably travel much slower.  Sharptooth and other predators would probably be tracking them the whole time and causing problems.  Littlefoot's mom could even die part of the way through the journey, leaving Littlefoot in a mess with nobody else to help him.  :|  I want this to work, darn it, but it just seems mostly unnecessarily morbid and depressing.  Still trying to work it out so it's not too much ANGSTY AND DEATHY AND AHHHH.

Today was pretty good.  ^_^

Went to Krystal to eat, yum!  :D

Found my 2 new Tron shirts and wore one today.  :D

Installed Tron Evolution, took a while.

Then I started playing, yay!  :D  I was having fun with it, but the keyboard controls hurt my hand.  D:  I couldn't make a jump because of it.  :<  I was thinking about getting an Xbox 360 for Windows controller anyways, but now I kinda need one to actually play the game for any length of time.  :<  Hand still hurts.  :|

Anyways, I'm enjoying the game, even though it's got a lot of haters.  Sure the controls are a little wonky and kinda confusing sometimes, but overall, I like it.  Of course, I have a VERY low entertainment bar and I enjoy most games, except for the very, very worst ones.  XD  The game is really pretty.  :D  The camera is kinda wonky too, but that might just be because the mouse controls it and I get kind of confused, since the mouse buttons are for attacking.  XD

Also, I think with a little tweaking of the engine, it could be used to make a pretty awesome Spider-Man game.  XD  You run up and across walls quite a bit, and there was one thing I did by accident, and I was all like, "I'm not sure what that was, but I think it was Spider-Man."

One thing I'm less than happy with (not upset or anything, just kinda meh) is that a canon event I'm not exactly fond of takes place sooner than I had hoped.  XD

Also!  It seems that Dr. Doom Abraxas seems to be filling in nicely in as the spot I've been planning for Larxene in the Kingdom Hearts fanfic version, complete with summoning/controlling enemies and a glowy hood.  :D  However, the time frame is messed up because of the previous event, but I can make it work and tweak it.  :D

Does anybody have any information/advice for buying an Xbox 360 Controller for Windows?  It looks like the regular wired controller works easily on Windows computers.  I have Vista, but there seem to be conflicting reports of it working nicely on it.  Has anybody tried it?  Thanks for any help!  ^_^


edit:  Forgot that we had $20 Amazon credits from buying Pokemon Black and White, so I ordered the Xbox Controller from there.  Plus Tron 2.0 Killer App for GBA because I'm a dork.  And you can play as Tron.  Tronnnnnnnnn.
