Bleach and Zombies
Aug. 2nd, 2010 10:02 pm*plop* Just got back from the zombie party a little bit ago. It went well, but it kinda wore me out. XD
This weekend apparently was Anime Weekend. XD We watched discs 4 and 5 of Higurashi on Saturday with my Sister's boyfriend. 6 is the last one, and then we've gotta find season 2 online because it doesn't look like it's coming to America.
Me and Dad also watched Bleach 34 and 35 on Adult Swim.
Sunday, Dad wanted to watch more Bleach, so we used YouTube on my Wii and watched from episode 36 through episode 49. We stopped in the middle of 50 because it was getting late and we need to watch some stuff on the DVR, and then Dad said he didn't care about Kon and Don Kanonji, so we'll pick up at 51 next time we watch. We ended up spending 6 hours and 24 minutes watching Bleach. XD XD XD Also, Dad's synopsis of episode 49 (I think?) was "Blah, blah, blah, Kaien Shiba." XD *flails* I got to see Zangetsu and Kaien again, yaaaay. And so many other good things from the old episodes.
Not sure how far we're going to watch. Dad didn't see a lot of the early episodes, but nobody can remember where he picked up at. XD I know it was around Rukia's execution, but that's about it. But, Dad loves Bleach, so we might just keep watching past where he remembers, who knows. XD It'll be fun either way. ^_^ New episodes are supposed to pick up soon on Adult Swim, so that's good.
Need to track down episodes 42, 45, 46, and 47, those had possible not!Akane chicks and/or other stuff I might want to icon or something. XD
Also, wondering if with some cropping and editing, if Momo could pass for Akane because she makes some nice angsty faces and Akane doesn't have any angsty icons. XD Also, Miyako could maybe be used for an older Akane. ^_^
Also, there's a girl in the Academy past episodes that has brown/red-ish hair and pigtails that Momo talks to that could be a younger Akane. XD
I came up with two new AU characters - Guardian Angel!Uryu and using his ultimate Quincy form for PBs, though I'm not sure what he'd be like. And evil!Hitsugaya, based on what if Aizen's letter to Momo was true and Hitsu killed him and stuff. XD
I've also been playing HeartGold a bit. I beat the Goldenrod Gym and I played Voltorb Flip until I got 3,000 coins, enough to get all 3 Pokemon prizes. I didn't like Voltorb Flip at first, because I suck at Minesweeper, but the more I played, the more I understood, and I really like it now. ^_^ I can get up to level 4 sometimes, and I might have hit level 5 once. XD
Today was pretty busy, I got up a little early.
I went to the dentist for a checkup, all was well, no cavities and not a whole lot of tarter, so that was awesome. ^_^
The Zombie Party went really well. We didn't get there until 15 minutes before it was supposed to start, so it was a little hectic trying to get everything together. Maddie brought some really awesome real looking fake blood and she put it on the murder weapon, the victim note, and a white shirt I had brought for bloodying up. XD
It was a lot of fun, and everybody participated and had a blast. There were a few small snags, but nothing major. XD I had forgotten/we sent the e-mail too late with the instructions, so we were printing them at the last minute and the printer ran out of ink, so Mom worked the copier and got it taken care of. XD Mrs. Betty said the music me and Maddie had picked was perfect because it wasn't too distracting. They might use the party again, like for the teens at Teen Night, so we gave them some of the stuff that was still good, and I'm going to send all my special files and probably the music we used for it. We had 61 songs, which was close to 3 hours in length, and it didn't get to all of them, so it was almost the perfect length. ^_^
It was fun being the victim, though the blood on the shirt hadn't dried, so me and Maddie ran to the upstairs bathroom and were flapping it around, trying to dry it out. It was okay as long as you didn't press too hard on the darker spots. XD Though, I messed up and was wearing it backwards the whole night. XD In total, I had the bloody shirt, a paper bone taped to my forehead, and a victim sign taped to my chest along with my nametag. XD After I was "dead", I wasn't allowed to speak toward the game, so I mostly moaned and groaned, though I did help if there were other questions not related to the mystery. It was fun. XD
We changed the endgame from the nonsense that it was, I later showed the girl playing the murderer, and she agreed that it was dumb. XD We used the Zombie Movie Challenge, that was supposed to delay everyone so that the victim could get ready, as the final challenge, there were two teams, one with zombies and one with humans. I don't think anyone really cared how it ended, but they had fun with the movie challenge and were looking things up on their phones. XD
I had been teasing with the one girl in character, because our characters didn't like each other throughout the party. XD At the end, after it was over, she came over and chatted with me, and when she needed to leave, she gave me a big hug, even though we had pretty much just met. ^_^
So, all in all, huge success. ^_^
