Taking Screenshots in Portal

*squee*  I did a little bit of research online and found out that all you have to do to take screenshots in Portal is press F5, then find the Steam/SteamApps/(Steam username)/portal/portal/screenshots folder, and there they are!  EDIT:  I just added a shortcut to the folder on my Desktop, so it's easier to find now.

I thought I'd have to ctrl/alt + prtsc, then paste in Paint and save in order to get screenshots, and minimizing and maximizing the game back and forth like that is sllooooww slowwww work.

This makes things so much easier, and removes pretty much my last hangup over working on the Portal novelization.

Because doing it the way I thought I would have had to would have taken FOREVER, and now I can take extra screenshots and pick out the ones that I don't need, and I won't have to pause, and I can snag quick ones of certain rapid instances, and it makes everything so much better than I thought it was going to be.  <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

The only problems I have left are deciding between writing it in first or third person and actually sitting down and writing it.  XD

Lazy Day

Today was okay.

Didn't sleep well, so I've been kinda tired all day.  Also, my kidney stone(s) is acting up the past day or two, so I get random pains.  :|

We went to Cracker Barrel I have no idea why I almost ended up with that as "Crack Barrel"  XD to eat, I got steak and biscuits and shared with Mom.  ^_^

Some time after Dad went to work, me and Mom heard a thud outside.  We looked, and there was a hawk on the picnic table!  He hopped to the chair next to it and sat there for a while.  After a bit, he took off and flew to one of the trees.  The chair was shaking back and forth from the force of his takeoff.  XD  It was really neat getting to see one fairly close for a few minutes.  ^_^

Just been lazy and poking on the computer doing nothing of any kind of importance, except for looking up how to take screenshots in Portal and nabbing 3 screenshots of the main screen.  XD


Forgot to mention that on GPX, I hatched a shiny Combee a while back.  ^_^



I have some project that's been bouncing around in my head for a while, I need to sometime just take the time to go to Bulbapedia and read every Pokedex entry for every Pokemon and figure out what they could all be used for.  ^_^  Porygon/2/Z as a computer/Pokedex.  ^_^  This also ties into my ideas for Pokemon Harvest Moon.  ^_^


Also, been looking up information on Nickelodeon games with Invader Zim and friends, I now want to see a Nicktoons RPG.  Get on that Nickelodeon.  XD
