Eventful Weekend

Saturday was my Dad's birthday, so we went to eat at Red Robin with Grandma and Grandpa. ^_^ That was fun. I got my strawberry lemonade and Grandma admired it and decided to get one too, it was pretty funny. XD
Afterwards, we did a little shopping. My Mom and Sister got some clothes. I went to Barnes and Noble and got the Monsters, Inc. comic collection, since I wasn't able to track down the rest of the series. It's awesome because all 4 comics are together and in the back, it shows all the covers and the alternate covers, and there was some that I hadn't even seen, not even on the website.
Went to a different area to shop, Mom, Dad, and my Sister got some shoes, though Dad's are a little tight and he's going to take them back. XD We stopped by Target and I got the robot plushie *failfailfailshaaaaaame*. XD
Me and my Sister transferred all the starter Pokemon to her, so I'll start up HeartGold for real sometime this week. ^_^
Sunday was Easter. It was good, except I had a really horrible dream that morning and I was upset all day long. I'm still sort of getting over it. My Easter basket was awesome, I got a Reese's tiger and lots of candy. ^_^ We went to Ryan's to eat with Dad's family. It was pretty good, but I wasn't able to eat much. I hadn't seen some of my relatives in a while, so that was cool. I also talked a bit with my cousin, which was nice. ^_^
We then went to take my Sister back to college and stopped by WalMart on the way. WalMart had some neat How to Train Your Dragon stuff, but they were out of Toothless toys. XD
We had a snack at my Sister's college, Dad shared some biscuits and chicken from Popeye's.
Me and Mom planned to go to bed early, but we didn't end up going that much earlier. I wasn't feeling well, not sure if it was something I ate or my being upset at my nightmare. I felt better after I threw up.
This morning me and Mom got up at 6:30 to go gambling with Pappaw.
It was about a 4 hour drive, plus time we spent stopping. On the way there, we ate at McDonald's. The drive was nice, the countryside was pretty.
We went to the French Lick casino. XD They had a deal, if you were new and got a Player's Card today, they would let you spin the wheel for a prize. Me and Pappaw got $10 for gambling (though it had stupid rules to use it) and Mom got $10 snack money.
The free $10 had a rule, you could only use it on two different machines, $5 on one and $5 on the other. You couldn't cash it out or change machines in the middle of it. I wanted to, but just stuck it through on the first machine.
Then, I went to play another game, but the dude was still on it. I was determined to play that game, so I went and found a different one. There was a lady on the machine next to it, and when I sat down, she said that she hoped that cigarette smoke didn't bother me, because unfortunately, she smoked. She wasn't smoking at the time, and I can handle a little, so I told her kinda eh. We chatted and played a bit, she hadn't planned to go gambling, she had just gotten on her motorcycle and rode and decided to go there, she hadn't put on makeup or anything. She looked like a biker lady, had a bandanna and leather gloves. XD She was originally from North Carolina, but now lived 30-45 minutes away, I think. I told her I was from Tennessee, and she said that I was nicer than a lot of people there (we were up North, in Indiana). She talked about how she was Southern raised, and wild boars chased her sometimes. She was super-nice. I ran out of my free money, but she was still going and I decided to keep her company, since I thought she was about done. I had a $5, so I put it in. We played and talked for a bit longer, then she had to go. We said goodbye and shook hands, and she said God Bless, and I thought that was really nice. ^_^ After she left, I looked over at my machine, which had previously not given me much winnings and I was down to about 60 cents or so, and it said I had won $2.10. A few spins later, I won $4. I won up and down and was about $8 for a bit, and when I went to $7, I changed machines.
I played a couple of different ones, but I went back to this one weird one, and I kept going up and down. I started with like $2, went down to $1 something or below, up to $3, down to $2. I might have broke even eventually, but Pappaw wanted to go.
So, him and Mom got a few snacks, and we headed on out.
Nothing too eventful on the way back. We did stop at a gas station that had some Spanish treats, along with the usual stuff, so we got a couple of things. I got a cake thing that had a caveman and a T-Rex on the package. XD
At home, we talked to Pappaw for a bit, and then went inside.
I'm kinda lost with RP right now, nearly all of my games are dead or half-dead. Brofist is kinda crazy with the last event, and I'm kind of lost with the whole thing. X_X
The only RP I'm really doing lately is nonsense with Sono over instant messenger, we've got two different things lately, which are actually turning out really great, even though we started with rather sketchy concepts. XD
That doesn't stop me from musing on My HiME!Orihime, I'm still trying to figure out her AU. Probably should look over my list again.
Wondering whether or not I should play Crazy!Momo. Hmmm, probably not, but she's still on my list.
Thinking about my Portal novelization thingy a little, need to finish canon review before I can start playing the game for screenshots. >_> Already have ideas on Portal 2, based on what little I know. *facepalm* Probably won't be writing that one, it's supposed to be a full length game. XD Depends on how much I like playing it and how well I like writing the first one. XD Getting ahead of myself, I know, but I had a lot of time to think in the car today. XD Though most of that was spent working on a completely original idea I've been tossing around for a while, though I think I just rehashed everything and didn't add too much new. XD
