Had a pretty good weekend. ^_^

I played another round of Oregon Trail, actually beat it this time!  And nobody died!  Yay! though, Grimmjow got a broken arm at one point, which amused me way more than it should. XD

XD More Oregon Trail-related nonsense. Told you so, Renji

Played some Pokemon FireRed, mostly just the slots. XD

Ugh, got bug bites on Friday. X_X I have like 11 of them, thought it was 8 at first, but a couple more popped up. X_X Saturday night was horrid, went to bed at 3:30 AM and couldn't sleep because a couple of them were itching so bad, I finally got up at 5:30 to put anti-itch stuff on them. I've been using Burt's Bees bugstick and it works pretty good and smells like lemon. XD We also have some old Kroger anti-itch stuff that I put on them as well. Saturday, I read some hints on how to take care of bug bites, so I tried putting an ice pack on some, which worked kinda, though I'm wondering if just because my legs were numb from the cold. XD It also reminded me about making an "X" on your bug bites, so I've done that a couple of times. Though, I think I did it too hard, some of the bites now have bruises. Ooops. I also read that really hot things, like scalding water worked, Sunday night I did scalding water on one that had popped up on my hand, the hot water really hurt, but it hasn't itched since. I also use the hairdryer on them and that seemed to have done a lot of good, they haven't really itched since then, yay!

I was poking around on Wikipedia and discovered the awesomeness of the king cheetah. King cheetahs are a weird genetic anomaly, their spots are darker and they have three black lines running down their back, they're really cool! There's not too many of them, because pretty much every single cheetah has identical DNA, kinda like clones, so it's weird that something like that would pop up. XD I kinda want to use a king cheetah in something, but not sure what.

We watched 2 episodes of Big Brother this weekend. Not!Aizen got voted off. XD Things seem a lot more pleasant now that he's gone. XD

The local Chinese buffet is moving to a new place and it changed its name to Royal Garden Buffet. For some reason, this makes me think of Byakuya. XD

We watched Bleach on Saturday, here's some miscellaneous thoughts from it. XD

Wonderweiss is adorable, wonder if he ate the dragonfly, we were all egging him on to. XD
Urahara was quite amusing these past two episodes. XD
Grimmjow - bad kitty, bad, stop beating up Ichigo! D:
Something Shinji said reminded us of the Oshikuru song, so we dubbed him Oshikuru. (Semi-related though, what about an Ichigo AMV to Oshikuru? XD)
Hitsugaya and his ice powers are Frozone (Would that make Rangiku Frozone's wife? XD)
All in all, those two episodes were a whole lot better than the past stuff, reminded me again why I like Bleach. <3

I read Swimsuit by James Patterson today, my Mom wanted me to. XD It was an okay book. Towards the end, it started going too fast for its own good and the ending was unresolved-ish, along with some kind of epilogue like a month later X_X Overall, it was okay, a quick read.

Right now, we're working on getting rid of stuff. XD We have a 10+ year collection of computer games, so we're going through all of them to see which ones are really worth keeping. XD

Keeping
These are the games so far that we're not getting rid of. I didn't play them, because I knew that they are keepers. XD

Walt Disney World Explorer 1.0 - This was the first computer game we ever got. XD So first, it was before we even had a computer, so we played it at Memaw's and Pappaw's. XD It's a nifty little program, it goes through all the rides at WDW and has information and videos and stuff, along with finding Hidden Mickeys and games. There was a neat game based on The Living Seas where you raise fish and sharks and see how things change based on population and pollution. There was a second edition released shortly afterwards with Animal Kingdom added in, but we didn't get it.

Hades' Challenge - Ah, this game was quite fun, it's sort of a bunch of minigames and puzzles and things. What really makes this a keeper for us is one minigame where you seat ghosts on the boat across the River Styx. Each ghost has their own seating preferences, such as "I don't sit next to cold beings" or "I don't sit next to cats." XD Every now and then, one of us will randomly declare, "I don't sit next to cats." XD

Jurassic Park: The Lost World Chaos Island - This is probably my most favorite computer game, and possibly my most favorite game ever. <3 It's really cool, you play through missions based on the game, you control humans and can get dinosaurs on your team. There's also the evil Hunter team that has things like jeeps and tanks that make your life misrable. XD There's wild dinosaurs, and sometimes you can get them to chase you into the enemy camp and then they get distracted and tear up the place. Good times. <3 I'd love to see games based on the first and third movies similar to this, or some kind of level/sprite editor for the game.

Getting rid of
These are CDs we're definitely getting rid of, for one reason or another. XD

Adobe Software Something or the Other - Seriously, we have no idea what this even is. XD

Windows Flight Simulator 98 - Eh heh...one of our uncles burned us some CD-ROM games years ago, we still have some of them, but a couple, like 2 Tonka games (They were super-awesome, but had some kind of fatal bug that would crash the game if you did exactly the wrong thing, no clue if it was the game itself or if it was because it was a copy). This one, we never could figure out how it works. Bye bye. XD

Frogger - This is a pretty good game, but we had some weird graphical problems that made everything black and dark green and impossible to even tell what was going on. I eventually got the Playstation version of the game, and it actually works. XD

Sonic R - I like this game a lot, it's pretty fun, and the music rocks while you're playing it. (When you're not playing it, the music is just okay. XD) I've got the Sonic Gems Collection, so don't need this one anymore.

Lilo and Stitch: Trouble in Paradise - This game is pretty okay, I have the Playstation version, not sure why we got this one too. I had loads of fun with the PS one, I even went back and beat all the levels within a certain time frame. XD Bonus points for it having videos from the movie.

Lego Racers - I've never played this game. XD Years ago, it had graphical problems similar to the ones I had with Frogger and I couldn't play it. I tried it last night, and it needs some driver. I went to the site, and the driver is $15. X_X Apparently, it used to be free, but not anymore. I found older versions for download, but it seemed to sort of lock up when I was installing it, it decided to look for Netscape for a while, I got irritated and stopped it. Sad about this, I wanted to play, because King Kahuka and a tiki car were in the instruction book. T___T On the upside, there are Playstation and Nintendo 64 versions of the game.

Legoland - Had the same driver error as Lego Racers, though I could get into the game, but when I tried to start the tutorial, it crashed. Never played it, I don't think, I forgot we even had it. XD

Europa Universalis - I got this game for a dollar at my university's bookstore. XD To borrow from something my friend Jamie once said, it was about a dollar worth of fun. XD It was quite confusing, I jumped right in and had no idea what I was doing. XD  Then I decided to read the manual that was on the CD, but I flipped through some of it, it's harder to read on a computer and it was long and talky. XD I found the tutorial and tried it. The main flaw of the tutorial is that if you clicked off the instructions, you couldn't get them back. X_X They weren't too clear either, so at like step 3, I had boats, but I couldn't figure out how to get people on and off, so I decided to map the world.  Even if I had wanted to try and follow the tutorial, I forgot what I was supposed to be really doing after a while. XD The world was a white blank canvas, and if you sailed into it, you'd see it piece by piece. Problem was that it was made of a bazillion pieces. X_X However, once you cleared a piece, you could zip through it, though it took a while to clear a piece even at the highest speed setting. Some places would kill my boats near every time. I'd tell the boats to go to a place, they'd take the quickest way through cleared pieces, which was nice, but annoying, since I was trying to clear pieces off. The messages that would pop up were helpful, but annoying. I'd get several at a time and sort through them, but sometimes my boats would die inbetween so some were old news. XD By 3 AM I had most of the ocean cleared, and I gave up, uninstalled it, and went to bed. XD

The hit list
These are games I'm either playing through or I'm not sure on whether or not I'm going to get rid of.

Croc: Legend of the Gobbos - ^)#*()&*@(#)&. I read a review online talking about how frustrating the game was. I went through the first 2 levels easily, and decided it was wrong. The next day, I forgot to save, so I blasted through them again with no problems and met the 3rd level. X_X The game is unforgiving if you want 100%. There's two important things about the game, crystals and Gobbos. There are 5 crystals and 6 Gobbos to each level. You need all 5 crystals in order to get the 6th Gobbo. If you leave a level in any way, be it exit or beat it, the next time you play, you have to get all the crystals and Gobbos in it again, even if you got them all before. X_X The lovely 3rd level has a shell swap game, guess which of the 3 boxes has the Gobbo after swapping. If you guess wrong, tough luck. Gotta restart the level if you want that Gobbo. The final Gobbo in the level is hidden in a minigame, if you don't collect enough in the minigame, tough luck, gotta restart the level if you didn't run out of the area soon enough to restart the game. X_X Another level has a bunch of boxes to break towards the end, one has a Gobbo, if you mess up and fall to the ground, tough luck, restart to get that Gobbo. >_> At this point, I've given up on 100%, I'm just gonna play through and go back and finish the levels I missed things on later. Also, the first boss was stupid, there was no health bar or really indication of what to do, and if you died, you restarted in a way so that you could only take one hit and then die (they have a system similar to Sonic and his rings). >_> I had to look at the FAQ I found in order to figure it out. As I played through the levels, I'd tab over to it and see what I needed to do to get everything.

Wild Life! - I played it years ago on my laptop and didn't have any fun at all, except for laughing at the animals hopping up and down for affection, even the T-Rex.  XD  I had terrible problems controlling it and the controls were rather unresponsive at times. Fast forward to last night on our Desktop, and all the control problems were gone! This made it immediately so many times better than previously. The animals still hop up and down, but I figured out the menus better and got them to do other things. XD Still unsure, but looking more favorable than when I placed the disk in. XD

3D Dragon Castle/3D Caveman Rocks/3D Brick Bustin' Madness - This is a 3-pack (well, 4, with some music CD creator thingie) nightmare. XD

3D Caveman Rocks - The best decription I have for this is some kind of really weird 3D maze-ish path runner kinda reminescent of Donkey Kong. You're a Caveman guy and you walk along the path collecting things, in the second level you jump boulders. Overall, not much fun.

3D Dragon Castle - What the crap? This game is pretty weird. It has wonky flying controls, you jump and hold and go back and forth higher and higher. In order to proceed, you kill things. To kill enemy dragons that are flying back and forth, you have to land/bounce on top of them. It's pretty hard. They drop coins, but by the time you kill the others, since you're on a roll, when you land to get them, the coins are gone. Supposedly, there are dinosaurs later on that you can use your fire breath on to kill.  I think you can legally download it for free now, so if you want to see what in the world I'm talking about, it's not too hard to find.

3D Brick Bustin' Madness - Actually, this game is pretty good! It's a block breaking game and the graphics are pretty neat. It's got some cool powerups and powerdowns. Only complaint is that there's no level select, so you've gotta play the first levels a lot. >_> If it wasn't for this game, I'd have put the CD in the get rid of pile immediatly. Probably will anyways, but wanna play this game a little more first.

Blah, Blah, Blah, RP, Blah, Blah, Blah

I wanted to RP as someone else, but had an idea for Orihime to go exploring. XD So I did that instead.  XD
