Thundaga!

Today was, for the most part, uneventful.  I went to my Accounting class, like usual.  We got back the quiz that we took on Tuesday that I was worried about.  I needent have worried.  Even though I wrote one thing down a bit wrong, I got full points.  ^_^

MicroEconomics was boring and amusing at the same time.  The teacher rambled on the same topic for a while, but he'd say something funny, or someone in the class would be talking and he'd ask them to share, and they would refuse.

After class, I worked on some online Accounting stuff, then I went back to my room to drop my junk off.  My anime friends are running a convention this weekend, and since I might go, mom said that I needed to go to the University Cashier and cash a check.  She read online that you can get up to $50.  So, I went and, today, I wrote my first check.  ^_^  The lady at the office said that you can get money about once a week or so, but not every day.

Afterwards, I went and grabbed a taco at my favorite taco place.  The taco place is located in kind of a food court that has several different choices of stuff to eat.  My friends usually sit in the back corner, so I headed that way.  But, the lady at the cash register told me that you could only eat in the middle section.  Since I couldn't eat with my friends, I decided to head back to my dorm.

A wise decison.  It was starting to sprinkle a bit of rain on my way to the dorm, and when I got inside, I sat in the lobby to eat my taco and chips.  While I did so, it started to POUR rain.  Truckloads of rain!  People came in from classes soaked.  Two guys left for class, even though some girls tried to discourage them, and one came back to the dorm, having given up.  XD  There was a bit of thunder and lightning, and someone said that the wind was picking up pretty good.  At one point the rain was so heavy, you couldn't see very far outside.

After I finished my taco, I went up to my room.  I looked out the window and saw that on the ground, was a river of mud!  Apparently, the rain stirred up mud from the dirt path that everyone uses instead of the sidewalk.  It's quicker to walk on the path, and because everyone does so, grass doesn't really grow there.  XD  The rest of the ground looked soaked also.  XD

Well, that's pretty much it for the day, my anime club isn't meeting tonight, so I'm probably going to stay inside and play video games.  ^_^
