Fantastic Weekend
So this weekend was really great!
When Mom went to pick up my Sister, I went with her and arranged to stay at David's for the weekend. XD
We all had lunch together and then waited for Alicia and Eric to come, they were running a little late due to traffic. After Mom and my Sister left, David took me to his apartment to drop off my stuff, and then he went to work. The rest of us went to a local Japanese restaurant for lunch. It was pretty yummy! ^_^
After that, we went to Autumn and Geneva's for a bit, and then walked to a local gaming store. I had accidentally left my jacket at David's, so Geneva let me borrow Autumn's sweater she got from England. XD We hung out at the store, then Alicia, Geneva, and I went next door to Dollar General for a moment, and then back to the game store. The game store had a game called Chrononauts that one of the cards is a Triceratops named Sarah, I giggled.
We went back to Autumn and Geneva's and hung out, me and Jon played Castle Crashers. XD
Back at David's, Josh's cat Speck was all interested in me, and would sniff me, but if I tried to pet him, he'd either wince away or swat at me. He liked to sit and stare at me too, so I played Ignore the Cat, and he came over and rubbed his face on my laptop. XD When I was getting just about ready to go to sleep, Speck lied right in the middle of the couch where I had set my blanket. XD I tried to sort of scoot him, but he just swatted at me. XD I then took my glasses off, turned off the lights, and moved my hand on the other side of Speck to get him to scoot, but he hissed and swatted at me. XD It was dark, I couldn't see, and the cat was unhappy with me, so back to the Internet. XD After a while, he moved to the end of the couch, and I was able to lie down. XD At one point, he got up and went sniffing near me, and looked me in the face. After he moved, I had a nice warm spot for my toes. XD
David had asked me to wake him up if I heard his alarm going off, so when it did, I went in and poked his arm, and he woke up. XD
After a bit, Josh got up, and we talked for a while, he was knitting a Pokeball hat. ^_^ Speck was batting at the string while he did so. XD Josh said that Speck likes to stare at strangers. XD
Later, a group of us went to a local Mexican restaurant that had the best chips EVER. They were FANTASTIC.
At 2, we went to see How to Train Your Dragon in 3D. Ohhhhh, it was soooo good! <3 <3 <3 And the flight scenes were amazing in 3D! And the ocean and the sky looked so realistic! And it was the only 3D movie that I've ever seen where I've seriously wanted to reach out and touch something - there was a scene with things falling from the sky. The only complaint I have is that the romance is just like every single cliche movie romance that I've seen lately - dude likes hot chick and it all works out even if she doesn't like him at first. :| Also read a neat article about it in the USA Today that talked about all the different dragon types and said that it was confirmed that Toothless was partially based off Stitch. XD
We went to the arcade in the mall, and Autumn won big bouncy balls from a crane game for everyone. <3 I got a clear pink one. She also gave me some tokens. ^_^ We had a Skee-Ball tourney sort of, and she won. We had all sorts of fun, and I got a cherry Airhead, yay!
We then went to the game club. I played a couple rounds of Bang! and ended up the Renagade (the hardest character to win) both times. XD The second time was awesome because of the character I had, and I survived a long time dodging bullets. XD Sheriff beat me in the end though, but it was hilarious and fun and everyone enjoyed it. XD I also played a few round of Shadowhunters, which was good too. We then played Pen and Paper, question and answer style and broken picture telephone style. Question and answer version was okay, but broken picture telephone was GREAT. XD There was one that turned into Goku making pancakes for most of the rounds, it was hilarious. XD
Afterwards, we went to Denny's, and I met Derek, he's pretty cool. I had a make your own Grand Slam, yum!
Then, we went back to Autumn and Geneva's, we watched the first season of The Guild. Afterwards, I realized I didn't know what was going on with David, Josh, and Fallon, and I didn't know if they were still up to open the door to let me in. XD Chris brought me back, and Fallon was up and watching the Simpsons with someone who I think was her boyfriend. So all was good there.
Fallon's um...nephew? was staying over, and he slept in her room, so she slept on one couch, and I was on the other. I think I had dreams about me hiding under my blanket from monsters. :|
In the morning, Fallon's nephew and David were hanging out, and then he wanted to play Ocarina of Time, but he couldn't read, so me and David were helping tell him what was going on some. Then his mom came and picked him up.
David, Josh, and Fallon all went to work, so I was there hanging out with the cat. The cat nuzzled my hand and let me pet him for a moment, and then when he was done, he scratched me. :| Alicia called, and when she found out I was all by myself, she said they'd come and pick me up. Well, when they did, I realized that I didn't have a key and couldn't lock the door. XD Eric had the idea that since David works at the theater nearby, him and Geneva could go get the key and then give it back to David after we locked the door. XD
We went back to Geneva's and played Dominion for a while, I think Geneva won. ^_^ Autumn then called and we picked her up from work, and we all went to Zaxby's. I haven't liked Zaxby's before, but I got a really awesome sandwich and Eric let me have some of their fried pickles. I don't like pickles, but I tried a fried pickle and it was sooo good. I gave half my sandwich to Eric, because Mom called and said we would have lunch at 5:15 and if David wanted to come, he could (earlier, he had said he wanted to eat with us, and he got off work at 5), so Autumn texted him for me. ^_^
After we dropped Autumn off, Alicia and Eric got their stuff and left, and then me and Geneva played Castle Crashers until my family came. I walked to the computer lab and Dad came shortly later. ^_^
We met David at a pizza place that Mom and my Sister had found, it was really yummy. ^_^
We went back to David's to get my stuff. Speck was on good behavior for my Mom and Sister and let them pet him. XD
We took my Sister back to her dorm, and I waited in the lobby while they took care of things.
Dad, Mom, and me then went home. We watched some TV.
I slept in a good amount today, though still tired, this weekend was great, but exhausting. XD
We went to a local steak and pasta restaurant, and one of our favorite waiters took good care of us. ^_^ The food was good, too.
Ran'Tao Bleach episodes - 96, 97, 102, 103, 105, 106, 107, and 109. However, in one of them, she's only in a recap from a previous episode, and I forget which one that was. *facepalm*

I haven't gotten a single thing accomplished for my Portal retelling thing. Well, I have been thinking about the legal disclaimer and other such notes, but nothing remotely useful. XD
I have realized that the retelling is kind of a genderswap thing, characters that are girls are replaced by guys and the guy is replaced by a girl. XD
I've done a little looking, and there doesn't seem to be any other full-blown Portal retelling, at least not on Fanfiction.net, so I'm good there.
I just need to buckle down and finish my canon reviews of Szayel and Yylfordt. >_> It won't take long, I'm just lazy about it for some reason. :|
I'm also dreading my screenshot madness run of Portal, I'll probably just do one test chamber a day or so, depending on how long it takes and how much I'm enjoying it. But it's the most critical part, as I need the step-by-step screenshots to write down the scenes and how to solve the puzzles.
With all my laziness, it seems like it might not happen, but I can't really think about anything else creative, so if anything, it's going to drive me crazy until I write it. XD I kind of just want to start writing, but I want to finish the canon review first, and I need screenshots, so I'm sort of at this weird place with it.
