Interesting Day

Today was pretty interesting.

Me and Mom got up early to spend part of the day with Pappaw.

We went to Cici's Pizza and ate.  It was pretty good.

Then, we went to Hobby Lobby.  Mom stopped into Books A Million to pick up a few things.  She got me 2 happy breakfast keychains.  :D  I got a sunny-side-up egg and a fuzzy half orange.  :D  At Hobby Lobby, we were looking for stuff to put on the Christmas tree we put at Memaw's grave.  Pappaw wanted another string of something silver to put on it.  All the Christmas stuff was 50% off, so I got some small dinosaur ornaments and some small dinosaur cookie ornaments.  :D  Also a cowboy Santa plushie.  I giggled and showed it to Pappaw, he was amused and said it looked like Charlie Daniels.  XD  Turns out Charlie Daniels Cowboy Santa was only $5, so we ended up getting it.  :D  I took a picture at the store with Mom's phone, I'll try to post it sometime.  XD

Then, we went to the cemetery.  Pappaw had left the tree how it was last year, so all we had to do was add the new silver bead strand and a couple of dangly ornaments on it.  The tree looks really nice.  ^_^


Tried to play Portal tonight, but it wouldn't let me.  :|  I think I need to restart my computer to get things back in order, but I didn't feel like it.  I'll try to get it going Sunday, Dad's going to work then.


I had a peanut butter and nearly 2-year-old Kit Kats sandwich for a snack.  XD  I wanted a peanut butter and Hershey's sandwich, but I couldn't find any candy bars.  :|  I did find some Valentine Kit Kats that expired in 2009 though.  XD  I didn't know they were from 2009 when I ate them, I thought they MIGHT have been from this year.  XD  Overall, it was okay, though the old Kit Kats tasted funky.  XD


I finally got around to making icons and an account for a joke character(s) - the Dr. Mario Viruses.  XD  virus_alert is the username, I was really, really surprised it was free, it's the name of a Weird Al song.  XD

I love all the Christmas stuff at hobby lobby. And it's awesome that you decorate a tree at her grave. It seems really, really warm and lovely.

I was up at school the first year Mom and Pappaw did it, but I've been there for the other two times.

There were some other Christmas decorations at some of the other graves, so those were nice to look at too.

It really is. I felt like I was five again when I looked last time. And I want to see the picture, if that's not asking too much? I'm trying to find a way to honor my pa this year. I miss him so. That seems like such a happy way to show that you remember.

There's so much awesome stuff there! I found this silly blue monster fluffy puff stuffed animal and was carrying it around to show Mom, this little kid walked past me and stopped, pointed at the monster and told his mom, "I want this!" It was hilarious. XD

*nods* I'll see if I can get it, it's on Mom's phone, so sometimes it takes a while to get the pics from her. *nod nod* I'm sorry you lost him. *hugs* It does seem like a good way, I've seen all sorts of different little trees and decorations at the cemetery. <3

I loved the candy cane orbs, they were so pretty. So so pretty. And that sounds cute, I bet he was adorable.

Thanks. And it's alright. It happens. But I didn't think that it'd hurt so bad, the holidays are making it worse for some reason. *hugs back* And I'll see if my granny wants to do that.

Oooh, I didn't see those! They sound wonderful! <3 He was! <3 There also were some cute kids playing with the special order cones at Cici's, it was hilarious, I saw one use it as a megaphone and then put it on her head. XD

They were red and white and sparkly. Just lovely. And aww, that's adorable.

*nods* I know what you mean, it's supposed to get better with time, but sometimes it doesn't seem like it's getting any better. *continues hugging* I hope so too, it's a nice thing to do together.
