Computer Angst :|
So, last night was FUN. I had finally gotten all the updates and crap downloaded and the computer KEPT RESTARTING with errors. D: Finally just went to bed. And, uh, because we didn't put the sled on the hard drive, there wasn't an easy way to get it out, so Dad had to pull it out with pliers. XD He got it out and put the sled on, then put it back in.
I looked something up that said that Internet Explorer 8 was the cause of my problems, but I couldn't do anything about it, so I had to reformat and install Windows again today.
So, trucking along, things were looking good, then Service Pack 3. After installing it, it came up with a disk error. :| The disk was okay, so I had to reinstall Windows XP AGAIN.
Just now got everything settled. All the updates went okay except the cussed Internet Explorer 8. It died and left me with no Internet browsers, and my System Restore points won't show up. :| I looked something up and uninstalled it and reinstalled it from the CD. I then went and downloaded Firefox and Chrome. XD
Just adding Flash and Shockwave and some other little things just to get the Internet running right. We only need it for the Internets while at the convention, though we won't really have time for it anyways. XD
Grey cat showed up for a little bit today. ^_^ It was cold outside, even with a jacket, so I didn't spend too much time with her. XD
:D My TY Beanie Buddy Rainbow lizard came in the mail today, so I can bring him along. ^_^ He's really soft and cute and adorable and has a tag protector. He's wonderful. <3
Wrote two more chapters for NaNoWriMo. I'm not thrilled with my progression, but it's the best that I can do. *sad*

Looking forward to the convention! :D It's Sugoicon. :D I don't know if any of my friends are going to be there though. :< I made friends with a lady that ran an artist booth last year, I wrote her asking if she was going to be there, but she hasn't written back. I hope she's there, she was fun. ^_^ I hope our new friends from the rave are there too. :D
I hope I can find a yellow diamond Shugo Chara keychain egg. :D I think I saw one last year or at MTAC or something, but I can't find it online, only the other colors. *flails* I want a pretty yellow eggy. XD I might get some manga, I have a list of ones I need. Also thinking about maybe picking up the full Darker Than Black DVD set, if it's cheap. ^_^ There's another series I was thinking about getting, but I've forgotten now. Oh well. XD Manga and anime are usually cheaper at conventions, so maybe I can find some deals. Also if there's a decently priced Fuuko figurine, I might get her. Maybe. Though I might angst too much if I do. XD Though I kinda am sad I didn't get that one at MTAC, but she was $50 and that's too much. :| I also want to try and get an Axel keychain and/or trinkets for Maddie, she fangirls him so much, it's adorable. <3
Anyways, I'll be back Monday-ish. I'll need to play catchup with NaNo, whoo.
I'm really sorry that I'm not around much on here, not really RPing, and barely on AIM. I really want to finish NaNo, and it's the only way I can work on it. I miss everybody though, and I don't want you to think I'm abandoning you. :< I'll be back in December or whenever I finish my Portal novelization, I promise. <3
