Good Weekend
This weekend was pretty good.
We didn't do a lot, but it was still fun. ^_^
Me and Dad played a bit of Pokemon Rumble. ^_^
I played more on Digimon Battle. I made a new friend that said they were from England, 16 years old, and pretty great at playing golf. I helped them complete a quest that I had just done by finding a thread that told the location of the secret agents. XD We got to talking, and they gave me a good amount of in-game money and some good items, along with a partially-expired time-related item you can only get with money (the last quest gives you one, and you can only have one at a time, it was just going to waste since I can't do the last quest yet. XD). We chatted for a while, but then they were busy with high-level boss battles. Then some maniac fought and beat me twice, invited me to party with them, then kept pulling me into battle with the same two Digimon that were like 20-30+ levels higher than us. And Megas, while we were just Champions. At least 3-4 times. And wouldn't hardly give me time to heal and sort my items in between. And every time was without warning. :| I finally just said: "PLEASE STOP. WE CANNOT WIN." They said okay, but I still left the party, because they'd probably drag me into more random fights, when all I wanted was to figure out what items I needed. :| It's said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results, I felt we were definitely in that territory. :|
We watched King Kong last night. It's an okay movie.
Today was...interesting. Mom is volunteering for the summer reading program at the library. But, she's short-handed with the teen volunteers and they keep flaking out, so she needs me and my Sister to help. We got up early and went to Burger King for breakfast, yummmmmm. Eggggggggg Croissanwichhhhhhhhhhhh and hashhhhhhhhh rounddddddsssssssss. <3 <3 <3 They also had an Iron Man with Dr. Pepper cutout coming out of the ceiling, that was cool. XD
I got the cushy volunteer job. XD I get to do the teen sign ups, and last year, for all summer, 50 people signed up with the teens. XD In total, I shelved some books, signed up like 10 people, helped a girl find a couple of books, did a few miscellaneous things, and played on the computer/read my book the rest of the time. XD And I get to do it again tomorrow. XD I found some books at the booksale, but after looking some of them up, I put all but 2 back. XD There was a series of 6 that had pretty pictures of dragons on the covers, and years and years ago, I got a bookmark that happened to be the cover of one of the books, so I've been a little fascinated with them, but they've always been kinda expensive for paperbacks that I don't know anything about. I had heard something bad about them, but I couldn't remember, so when I looked it up, it turned out that they're actually trashy romance novels with dragons occasionally mentioned. :| No thank you. The other one I put back, it said online that they were a little bit raunchy, dark and gritty, and didn't have a happy ending. :| Do not want. I bought one about dragons that sounded okay from the reviews online and the original Alien novelization by Alan Dean Foster. <3 Thank you Internet from keeping me from garbage books. XD
We took a break around 3 to go eat at Subway with Dad, that was fun. ^_^
Monster Hunter monsters are my current obsession. I've never even played the games, I just found some boxes of mystery with awesome monsters at the convention in April. XD I keep flipping through this list to look at the pictures of all the lovely monsters. There's a cool unicorn, Yylfordt, Toothless, an awesome fire dragon, and my favorite super-cool sea monster that goes on land and water. <3 There's some other cool ones, but I like those best. ^_^
I want to make an Arrancar based off of the sea monster, I've already been playing with some ideas. ^_^
