Friend RP Discussion - Plot and Setting

The posts for characters and canons and what we want in an RP are still open, but I thought maybe we could discuss ideas for our friend RP.

Since it's going to be multi-canon, we need a way to mix the canons together to somehow revolve around Pokemon.  sono_cat mentioned that it might be a good idea to substitute things from other canons into the Pokemon world, so we could work with something like that.

There's Souls of Celadon City, but it needs to be crazy revamped as it revolves around Soul Eater mechanics and involves the Shinigami fighting Arrancar and the Organization XIII.  XD  But, something along the same lines-ish could work maybe.

Another idea I had a while back was people adventuring for treasure and stuff on a boat and used Pokemon to help them find and get to the treasure.  For lack of anything better to call them, they were the Not!Pirates.  XD

I came up with a new one today, but at the moment it revolves completely around Pokemon.  Pokemon Warzone is revolving around a war waged with Pokemon, it started with an idea that maybe you could stick something in Blastoise's cannons to shoot besides water and kind of just went crazy from there.  People are jerks and if Pokemon are real, of course they'd start a war with them.  It could even follow Pokemon canon, Mewtwo was created as a weapon for Team Rocket's side, legendary Pokemon are rare and people want them to wreck havoc on the other side(s) (imagine calling down a Giratina on somebody  XD), people go to the other lands to find Pokemon to help them fight, all sorts of odd and creative things can be used for each Pokemon.

So, so far, those are my ideas.  What do you guys think?  Any other ideas?

Feel free to discuss all sorts of things amongst yourselves and maybe even start world-building.  <3

XD Looking back through it, it's a little scattered and incomplete, I need to make the stats for Archer sometime. XD And I need to dig out the maps, I think they maybe are on my external hard drive. I hope. XD

It's going to be pretty hard to blend so many fandoms together well.

It would help to know which aspects of each fandom we're going to blend in, and out of curiosity, how will we handle new characters coming in from new fandoms later?

*nods* Right, but it's not completely impossible either, it'll just take a little planning.

It really depends on what people want from each fandom. If the new fandoms don't blend in well with what we have, then they could come from another region or island or something and build a new area based on them.

I like this idea for implementing new fandoms.

Still, we need to know which aspects of each fandom people want implemented. With Bleach, for example, I think the species/races would be enough, and possibly SS and HM.

*nods* Right, it all depends on what they want for their characters. We might need to add Karakura Town as a Pokemon town, since there's an Orihime and an Ishida that might play, maybe have like Isshin or Ryuuken or Urahara or something as the gym leader. XD

I can only speculate as to what he was like before he started splicing, since his audio diaries in the game all seem to come after the discovery of ADAM. My personal headcanon is that he was a generally caring plastic surgeon, but a nitpicky perfectionist.

Via the audio diaries you can see how he descends into madness. He starts "seeing" and "speaking with" the goddess Aphrodite, who tells him that she can show him a new kind of beauty; that they need to do something about symmetry. By the time we see him in person in the game he's a nutball butchering people in an attempt to make them beautiful according to the skewed ideas of beauty "Aphrodite" has given him. (He has a machine gun under his operating table. >_>; ))

Hmmm, he sounds pretty interesting. (XD Hey, you never know when it might come in handy! XD)

I also took a peek at his page on the BioShock Wiki, and I've found a couple of things that he could be converted to Pokemon for:

Like Bill - Pokemon/People splices - Maybe he worked at a Pokemon Center or human hospital, went nuts and started fusing Pokemon and people.
Porygon team - Porygon and its evolved forms were made by scientists, maybe he was on the team that did
Fossil Regeneration - Maybe he helped at the labs regenerating the fossil Pokemon?
Mewtwo and other clones - He could really work here, as there's rumors in the games and other canon media that human DNA and other Pokemon DNA was used to make Mewtwo
Castorm - Scientists made Castform

Hmm... I like the idea of him being involved in mixing Pokemon and Human DNA somehow. I'm sure that could have potential in the field of plastic surgery.

It looks pretty neat from the video. XD Though, for some reason, it reminds me of Toontown, I think there was a part in the Roger Rabbit ride at Disneyland that was similar. XD It's like Toontown and Portal and Tower of Terror. XD

Hmmm, what if each Pokemon produced a different kind of ADAM? Dunsparce would have like -infinity to aesthetics. XD

ADAM doesn't have different types or anything. People just apply it to different purposes, like beauty tonics or plasmids and such.

It would be interesting if DNA samples from other Pokemon were required to create certain effects though...
