Final Horse Class

Yes, this is the end.  I've had enough of my stupid horse class, so I'm going to drop it.

When I went to go get Tina, she was running around near another horse.  She finally stopped and walked a bit, then I got the halter on her, she kinda stuck her nose into again.  ^_^

We got back to the barn and I tied her up.  I started currying and brushing her, she didn't roll in too much mud this time, so it was easy to clean her up.

Then, I went and got the saddle, saddlepad, and bridle.  The bridle, for some reason, seemed sticky the whole class period.  Anyways, I got the saddlepad on Tina, and kept messing up while I put the saddle on her, making the saddlepad slide incorrectly.  Well, the saddle is heavy, so I rested a bit, leaning on Tina.

From across the way came a harsh voice of one of the helpers, "Stop leaning on Tina and get on her!"  >_>  Well, she only had the saddlepad on at that point, so I couldn't have!  So, I fought with the saddle some more.

My friend that drives me to the class had the spot next to me, so I walked over and asked if she could help me move my saddle.

Again, a harsh voice, but not that of an instructor or helper, but one of the students.  She told me that I shouldn't walk away from a horse that had a saddle on, and that it would be a broken saddle.  *sigh*  So, back to fighting with the saddle.

Eventually, the teacher came over and helped me get the saddle on.  I asked across the way if the helper girl could check to see if my saddle was tight enough.  She told me to bridle Tina and bring her over.

So, I got the bridle on Tina and walked across the arena.  The helper girl yelled at me that I should watch where I was going and to not walk in front of the horses.  >_>  The horses were going around in circles, so it was hard to NOT walk in front of the horses.  *sigh*

Well, the girl took a look at my saddle and said that it was incorrect.  Mind you that the teacher put the saddle on.  So, off came the saddle.  Again.  So, the girl showed me how to put the saddle on, took it off and told me to try.  All this time, Tina was trying to walk around.  So, with some difficulty, I finally got Tina saddled.

Now, time to get on.  Well, since every time I shift my weight, Tina starts to walk, so I went to the stepping blocks.  About this time my friend came over, and she was uneasy.  She hasn't spent too much time around horses, and that which she has has been largely unpleasant.

So, I tried the stepping blocks, but Tina kept moving.  I held Tina's face, around her nose, and asked her nicely to behave.  I was just so frustrated, I figured it couldn't hurt anything.  I figured wrong.  One of the helper girls yelled at me to get on Tina, that this wasn't a pony something-or-the-other, I forget her exact words.  *sigh*

Only one option then, to get on the horse while it was moving.  I failed the first time, then got it the second time.

Tina decided to start trotting quickly, and I thought that was ok, because everyone else was trotting.  But, no.  The teacher called out and said that I needed to walk while everyone else trotted.

Well, Tina was uncooperative most of the time, I had problems controlling her for a great deal of the time.

The teacher said that if anyone knocked down an orange cone, he'd take a quiz point away.  Ouch.

Well, after going around with Tina for a bit, we all stopped our horses, and the teacher talked to us.  During which, I sneezed and my feet jerked, and Tina kinda started walking a bit.  Whoops.

Finally, it was time to go.  I got off Tina and took her to the post.  I started to tie her up, when a harsh voice fussed at me, that I was tying it the wrong way.  She proceeded to take the rope and put it around the right way.  I've been tying the horse from the first day the same way, twice a day, and no one ever told me before that I was doing it wrong.  *sigh*

Well, me and my friend headed on out.  She isn't happy with the class either, the horses are making her really nervous.  So, we both decided to withdraw from the class.

When I got back to my dorm, there were two guys playing a Mario game for SNES, I think it was Yoshi's Island.  I watched and chatted with them for a bit, they were trying to get 100% on it.  ^_^  They were pretty cool.  XD

Then, I went back to my room.

Now, last night around midnight, my roommate asked if she could have a friend over for about an hour.  I said sure.  Soon afterwards, a tall guy walked in.  They spent a while on her bed sitting and chatting.  He even told her stuff that he said he didn't want many people to know.  Guess he forgot about me on the computer.  XD

Well, when I came back after horse class, he was in the room again!  Him and my roommate were chatting again.  Visitors make things slightly annoying for me, I have to do a few different things.  So, I went to take my shower, and when I came back, they were singing along to some country song.

Whee.  They sung a bit more, and during his visit, my roommate tried to convince him to hang out with her instead of him working on his paper.  XD  I think he had a class at 7, so they left soon.  I'm not sure if she has the same class, but she hasn't come back yet.  XD

Well, that's all for now.
