Kingdom Hearts Tron Legacy and Prequel Fanfic Notes
Just wanted to write down my thoughts for my Kingdom Hearts Tron fanfiction before we go on vacation. :D
Spoilers for Tron Legacy, Tron Betrayal, and Tron Evolution. Especially Tron Legacy.
I'd love any advice/comments on my ideas, if you want. ^_^ :D
Kingdom Hearts Tron Legacy fanfics, part 1
Prequel - based very loosely on the Tron Betrayal comic and the Tron Evolution games. The Tron Uprising show takes place during the same timeframe, but as it will not air partially until like Fall and not fully air until 2012, and I want to write it sooner than that, it won't have much bearing on this fanfic. Maybe. XD
Rough draft of a rough draft of a rough draft, some stuff will definitely change
-Somebody sends an upgrade disk to Radiant Garden
--Either Ansem the Wise, King Mickey, or -very maybe- Flynn (maybe he was buddies with Ansem and gave him the first copy?)
-Upgrade the system
--Upgrades consist of different look, more Programs, more functions for Programs, and Clu
-Tron greets Clu and they talk about stuff, Tron tells him about what happened before and Clu talks about how he's gonna make the place all awesome and stuff
-Things are great for a while, all's good
-One of the Users pokes through the data and finds a file on Larxene (maybe data!Larxene from KH2FM+) this activates a Larxene program in Space Paranoids
-Program!Larxene has her personality and abilities, but no memories. She summons one of each type of Heartless native to Space Paranoids (though Shadow might be replaced with Neoshadow (though I don't remember Shadows being there, but the Wiki says they are so ?)) and sends them to wreck havok
-Tron fights off some of the Heartless and goes to tell Clu that bad things are going down.
-Fighting and chaos for a while, Heartless numbers keep growing, nobody's happy, Clu's frustrated that things are just getting worse
--Need to look and see if the Keyblade is the only thing that permanently kill Heartless, there's a theory I read that if anybody else's weapons defeats a Heartless, they reform elsewhere, gotta check if that's true
-Maybe non-lethal games are established to find the strongest fighters as guards to fight the Heartless
-At some (perhaps multiple) point, Tron and Clu argue about what to do, Tron wants to ask the Users for help, Clu says he was put in charge and can handle it
-Program!Larxene and Clu meet, she tells him that if he gets control over the Heartless, they'll stop attacking the people, but he has to embrace the darkness
-Probably some kind of Heartless control practice, every time Clu manages control, his circuits flicker yellow
-Eventually Clu gets full control and goes full yellow
-Tron finds out and about Program!Larxene and stuff and fights back. Maybe another argument with him and Clu.
-Program!Larxene is eventually de-rezzed - originally I wanted a User to just delete her Program, but now I want Tron to destroy her. Maybe this is the whole betrayal scene where Clu brainwashes him - he was weakened from fighting Program!Larxene.
Other notes -
-Need to play through Evolution for timeframe information
-Quorra and Tron - need to find out if they know each other
-Abraxis virus somehow? Something like the Hostile Program or some kind of Heartless?
-At some point the games get more brutal
-Castor and Quorra - how do they know each other - maybe fight Heartless together if no canon explanation
-Castor and Clu - how do they know each other - maybe Clu gives Castor the Heartless that shows up in the next story
Kingdom Hearts Tron Legacy fanfics, part 2
Main - based on Legacy, follows it closer
Unfortunately, I've only seen the movie once and I didn't sleep the night before (too excited!), so my memory of events is kindaaa hazy. So I've probably gotten some stuff mixed up. XD
Super-rough draft of all rough drafts
-The group is out of contact with Tron, eventually Sora pops in and they tell him that there's a problem.
-Sora, Donald, and Goofy go to Space Paranoids, plays out like when Sam gets into the Grid. A Recognizer picks them up. Unknown if the henchman are merely brainwashed, fused with Heartless, or just plain Heartless. Sora is sent to the games, Donald and Goofy are sent to be brainwashed/Heartlessified.
-Sora fights in the games, when he gets to Rinzler, he recognizes the symbol, but can't quite place it. Plays out like the battle, Rinzler takes him to Clu, then they Light Cycle battle. Quorra somehow gets on Sora's team, and when he's in trouble, Quorra rescues him and they get to safety.
-Quorra and Sora talk and she gives him some information. Depends on how much she knows, if she personally knows Tron. (She'll know OF Tron, everybody does. XD) She reads all sorts of stuff from the archives, so she knows a lot. Probably cute discussion of User stuff.
-They go to visit Castor, who's an old friend of Quorra's. He has a giant pet Heartless he unleashed on them. (Design pending, currently it's a giant lizardbeast, which doesn't make sense.) They defeat it. Maybe Sora's disc gets snatched.
-Darkness made Clu crazy, so he's trying to get to the User world to take it over. Maybe looking for more Heartless or something.
-At different parts, Rinzler is starting to regain memories, thanks to seeing Sora again.
-Regroup and try again to find Donald and Goofy. Maybe during all this, they've been fighting a giant brainwashing Heartless, definitely not Heartlessified yet.
-Maybe Solar Sailer Heartless fighting minigame similar to KH2 game or just chat with Sora and Quorra.
-Somehow regroup with Donald and Goofy, maybe another large battle.
-Light Jet Battle and stuff, Rinzler fully remembers and helps, but sinks to the ocean.
-Battle with Clu, maybe two parts, normal and then CRAZY HEARTLESS MONSTER
-Sora wants to go help and find Tron, but stuff on the outside is bad, they need him back LIKE NOW. Upset, he asks Quorra to help Tron, and he'll come back when he can.
-Unknown if she does or not, it's unknown in Legacy if Tron is okay and Quorra goes to the User world anyways. :| If he's okay, then maybe she used a LIGHT SUBMARINE (lol Jules Verne) to rescue him.
