Crazy Shenanigans
Today was pretty interesting. XD
Me and Mom got up a little bit early to eat with Pappaw. One of the Chinese restaurants is closing today, so we went for one last meal. It was pretty good. I also got a silk rose, a silk butterfly, and two silk dragonflies. :D
Also! Happy Chinese New Year! I'm crazy excited that it's the Year of the Rabbit because I am a Rabbit year and for years I've been going, "Is it Year of the Rabbit NOW?" XD
We made a stop at Wal-Mart on the way home. Pappaw needed to pick up a few things, and I wanted some stuffing for Sock!Bachuru. :D
At home, Dad played Magic Cookies with me and Mom. XD To explain, first I've got to start at the beginning. See, we have a picnic table outside and we don't use it for picnicking, we put bird food out on it for the birds and squirrels and the occasional bunny. Dad jokes that the squirrel comes, and there's no food. He comes back later, after Dad's put some food out, and *gasp* there's food on the table. MAGIC TABLE. So, we've been joking about Magic Table for a couple days now. The other day, Dad brought home a clear box of 10 cookies. Me and Mom ate 5 of them, and we had kinda poking each other about them. So, when we came home, I noticed that the box of cookies was now mysteriously full and perfectly sealed up, so I said, "Magic Cookies!" Me and Dad teased around back and forth and Mom didn't quite get it (later I found out she thought I was in on the thing XD) at first. XD A bit later, Dad pulled out the original box from where he had hidden it. XD He went to the store last night and happened to buy another box of cookies. XD
I thought I wasn't as tired today, but when I was lying on my back and looking up at the ceiling (it's got lots of bumps on it), the ceiling looked like it was rolling like the ocean. XD I was like, "Huh. Kinda trippy." XD It was very weird. XD Guess I was more tired than I thought. XD
Tonight was Teen Night.
Beforehand, I was hanging out with Holland, then she wanted me to accept her Gaia friend request, but I can't get on the Teen Computers with my card, so she had the ladies at the desk print me a guest number. XD I then did most of my daily stuff. XD
It was story night, so I worked on Sock!Bachuru. Along with the stuffing, Mom had given me some purple thread, so I was able to use it instead of the dark blue. :D I got the last claw sewn on, all the claws sewn shut, and I started working on the eyes. I had a few wonky problems, but I think I sorted them out. XD I should be able to finish him the next time or two I work on him, all I have left is to finish the two big eyes, make the two small eyes, sew all the eyes on, stuff the legs, sew the legs on, and stuff the body. XD
Mrs. Lisa was wearing a Death Note L shirt. :D
Also, today was Mrs. Annie's last day, she got a job at the library in the town next to ours. I think she's head of their Teen Program, and said that she was going to try to get our Teen Program to work with theirs or something.
