Seafood! ^_^
Today I had a test in French. So, before my MacroEconomics class, I was looking over my French book. My MacroEconomics teacher teaches in the same classroom before mine. So, when he came out and say me studying, he said, "Good old Econmics! Wait a minute, you're not studying Economics, it's something much better!" I laughed and replied, "Yeah, French, I've got a French test next class."
After class, he asked me to say something in French, and I hesitated, my French isn't all that great, and he commented that it's probably easier to read French than say it, and I agreed. We chatted for a bit, and he wished me good luck on my test. ^_^
On to French! I looked over my stuff some more before class, then the test arrived. I'm not certain how I did, some parts I knew, other parts I didn't, and I rushed on some of the sentences due to time starting to run out.
I'm glad it's over.
Me and my friend that drives me to my horse class decided that we'll go to eat after the class. She wanted me to go to a different Japanese restaurant and try the sushi there. I agreed, and her boyfriend wanted to come too. Because of this, I didn't want to eat much beforehand, so I just picked up a smoothie so I wouldn't starve. XD
After I brought my smoothie back to my dorm, I played my daily Animal Crossing, and I got on the Internet. My email said that I had a new friend request on Facebook. This person's name was, "Sora Keyblade Master". Laughing, of course I had to accept a friend request from Sora! I also couldn't resist giving him a poke. "You poked Sora." Too funny. XD
So, then it was time for my horse class. My friend asked me to meet at her dorm, she needed to go to the bank and fix some stuff that had gone awry. On my way to the dorm, I ran into another friend from my anime club, and she told me that because of the convention they were setting up, there'd be no anime club tomorrow. So, I got there a bit early, and we headed out. She was at the bank for a while, and finally got it all sorted out. We got to class a few minutes early, so we weren't late, I was glad for that. ^_^
We didn't ride the horses today, they were resting them for a show and riding thing, so instead, we were lectured about bits and whatnot. Before class, me and my friend went to the bathroom, and there was a little bird inside! It flew past us, and we didn't see it again. Though, while waiting for the teacher to get to the classroom, we heard a bird cheeping from the rafters, and eventually saw it. Wonder if it was the same bird. XD
Our teacher brought in a horse skull and showed us different things about it. He said it was a mare's skull, because it was missing some canine looking teeth that he guy horses have. During the class, he said these things about the skull: "This particular head is dead." "When we put this horse back together..." and "Soft tissue is up there, not on this horse, he's lost his." Of course he said other things, but these were the most fun. ^_^
We got out of class about 30 minutes early, so my friend wanted to try a different path when driving. We did so, and she seemed happy about where we went. We still had time, so I ran back to my room and dropped my stuff off and changed clothes. I figured that dusty pants, flannel shirt, and dirty shoes weren't good to go eating in. XD
I walked back to my friend's dorm, and we waited for her boyfriend to get off work. He works at the front desk, so we all stood around and chatted.
Finally, it was time to go eat! We were all hungry, they had eaten quite a bit earlier, and I had only had the smoothie. On to the restaurant!
I got a Teryaki Seafood platter that came with shrimp, scallops, crab, vegetables, and rice. We also got soup before the meal. My friend's boyfriend said he'd pay for the sushi, and they got a Crunch Roll and a Crab Roll. They were pretty good, but I like other sushi better. All in all, it was a good meal. ^_^
I payed for mine and my friend's food and the tip. Going to eat is my way of paying for the gas when she drives me to the horse class. Though, if I end up dropping the class, I hope we can still eat sometimes.
Ah, yes, about the horse class. I asked the teacher about Auditing the class. Auditing a class means that you take the class without getting a grade. The teacher said that he didn't let people audit, because they often didn't show up or do the work. So, I'll probably just withdraw from the class, I have until next Friday to do so.
Probably nothing of too big of an interest will happen tomorrow, there's no anime club or anything else going on. While I'm glad for the break, I'll miss watching the anime. I'm tempted to download the last five episodes of one series and just finish it off. XD
