NaNoWriMo: Chapter 19

Just finished level 18/Chapter 19 of my Portal novelization!  :D  Getting close to the end of NaNoWriMo, though I'll need to start the next level/chapter in order to finish.  XD

This chapter is one of my weaker ones, because the action is just so darn wacky in it, it's hard to describe.  XD

Please give me any advice, crit, or comments you have for this chapter!  ^_^

-Ugh, this level. NOBODY LIKES YOU LEVEL 18. NOBODY.
-I am going to have to have Chell figure things out a little faster than normal because any sort of guessing around will get you KILLED in this level. :|
-Going to have to do a live run of most of the level since there's all sorts of crazy stuff you have to do. :|
-Have I mentioned that I hate this level?
-Descriptions of where the robots are is kinda wonky.
-I hope Chell didn't figure stuff out too quickly. It took me half of forever and a lot of dying the first time. XD
-Like the cameras, I stopped mentioning the observation windows a long time ago, because you get used to them after a while. If you want them back, please say so! ^_^
-I think I mentioned the portal vanishing off a moving wall previously. I hope so. If not, I need to go back and find that level and add it in.
-Should I have explained in a previous level why Chell's been firing portals under her feet when falling? In my experience, it's more accurate than just leaping into a portal, I miss doing it that way sometimes. XD
-Heh, actually, I'm not hating it as bad the second time through for this. Though, I haven't done the crazy bouncy part yet. Saving that for later. :|
-The description of bouncing around in the last part seems off.
-I hope I got Chell flying face/feet first out right, it was kind of confusing. :|

NaNoWriMo: Chapter 20 (NaNoWriMo Complete!)

 Just finished level 19/Chapter 20 of my Portal novelization!  And with that, I've hit over 50,000 words and have finished NaNoWriMo!  :D  This will be the last chapter labeled as NaNoWriMo and keeping up with word count, I still have 2-ish left to write - all of the behind the scenes and the final battle.  Not sure when I'll get around to it, just sometime before Portal 2 comes out.  XD

Thanks for reading and putting up with this nonsense as I've worked on this project.  I won't be as much of a pest about it now that NaNo is over.  XD

I think I may just cry in relief that it's over and I made it and I'm not a failure.  XD  I've still gotta finish the rest of the story though.  XD

I'd love any crit, advice, or comments about this chapter!

-Lassst normal chapter! After this is the "behind the scenes" and the final battle!
-:| I forgot exactly how short this level was, hopefully I can get enough words out of it to not have to start the next bit. XD
-Not sure if the description of the glitch is wonky or what.
-I hope I didn't have Chell figure out how to get the Pellet in too quickly.
-I've never played it before with a mouse. My mouse keeps getting hung up on the couch and it's hard to move. I kept having to reopen the door because I couldn't move Chell fast enough. XD

Nice Holiday

The holiday long weekend was good.  :D

We ate at Pappaw's house with his girlfriend and her family.  Her family wasn't too social, but their kids were interesting.  XD

Then we visited Grandma and Grandpa.  ^_^  I found 2 Ninja Turtles games I had been keeping over there, one I had forgotten about and the other I had feared had been gotten rid of.  :D  Grandma also gave me a dress she had been wanting me to try on, but kept forgetting.  Also got a jacket that fits both me and my Sister.  XD

I found the Nintendo64 controllers and so me, Mom, and Dad played Dr. Mario.  :D

I've been playing Digimon Battle some, there's an awesome Thanksgiving event going on.  ^_^

Also been poking around GPX lately.  ^_^
